geometric challenge?
I was challenged to provide a (non-trigonometric) geometric response to following: basic triangle Isoceles BC, pinch A. Angle BAC is 20 degrees. A line drawn from the cuts in the EU and the side AC CBE angle is 60 degrees. A B C line D line and cut the angle BCD is 20 degrees. What is the bed angle? I I know it can be done by trigonometry, but another thing is geometrically
This does not seem possible only with geometry. Response is irrational to the degree in ~ 5.6263. I do not see how an irrational number can result from simple geometric arguments. Solving such a square (the law of cosines) appears necessary to achieve this result. Keep in mind that it is not unusual for evidence geometric not exist in quite simple situations.
